Talk Among Yourselves started out as a group of people who had come together to talk about events that happened in their lives, their challenges, their inspirations and their unique qualities. As time went on we learned that we had a lot to offer each other and others as well! We share problems, recipes, worries, hopes, fears and dreams.
This blog is an accumulation of things that our group members want to share with the world at large. Each member brings their own unique ideas and thoughts to this blog to share with you!
Meet our Talkers!
Faye – Faye is a jack of all trades but a master of none. Her interests are vast and between keeping a toddler alive and preventing her neurotic cats from destroying the house, she finds that there is just not enough time to craft all the things, read all the books, watch all the anime and play all the games.
Rachel – Rachel is a trans nonbinary genderqueer genderbereft, bisexual, grantmanaging, humanistpaganagnostic, kinky, geek, autistic, parent.
Jen – Jen is a thirty-something from Michigan with a serious Disney addiction. She spends a lot of time with her hands covered in paint and in front of the sewing machine – never at the same time of course! Something that brings joy to Jen’s life is musical theater, she’s been to performances of Wicked over 100 times not to mention dozens of other musicals. Through her passion for sharing her own struggles with various chronic physical and mental illnesses Jen hopes to show other warriors they are not alone and that together they can create change.
Ashley – My name is Ashley. I’m 22 and live with many mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, trichotillomania, dermatillomania, and complex PTSD. I’m nonbinary (they/them pronouns are preferred but she/her is also fine) and pansexual. I have a sweet rescue pit bull that I love to death. I spend my time reading books and writing stories.
